Las Vegas!

You’re probably wondering, where the hell I’ve been.  Well, on Sunday technically Monday at 2am, I just flew back from Las Vegas for Arbonne’s Global Training Conference (GTC)!  It was my first one ever, and I met a ton of great people, got to know my roommates and teammates better, and learned A LOT.  At GTC there were 20,000+ people!  Don’t believe the hype:
The conference was at the MGM Grand Arena, and then there was an Abundance area aka the overflow room that had 15,000 people in there!  One of the best conferences I’ve ever been to.
Team Freedom at Tom Urbans!  Shout out to Stacey Lindsey for treating us to dinner that night.
If you’ve ever been to Vegas, lots of walking, eating, and drinking.  There were a lot of great speakers that changed my life the past week.  I even met my spirit animal who was the keynote speaker at GTC.
The picture above, there was a shop Arbonne boutique and two giant “a’s” that you could sign.  Pretty sure I signed Team Freedom STL…and something else then drew a heart around it.

Please stayed tuned because I will be starting a YouTube channel soon!

Makeup Forever

First off, HAPPY NEW YEAR! (:

Sorry for the hiatus, but I was sick for about a week and that never happens.  I’m only usually sick for about one or two days.  It happened New Years Eve night and it turned into a never ending cold.  Thankfully it’s over!

I have quite some gifts I want to show you all and talk about, but that is for a couple days later this week.  I actually have quite a few products to write about so just stay tuned and sit tight.

makeup-forever-nude-palette

I purchased this back in December when I was Christmas shopping for one of my friends, and came across this beautiful palette.  It is Makeup Forever Artist Shadow Palette Volume 1.  Yes, super long name.  I love all of the colors, and it is one of my favorite nude palettes.  I have a problem with purchasing nude palettes because they are all different to me.  The colors are not the same as the one in Lorac Pro’s palette or the Naked 2 Palette.  This palette retails for $44 at Sephora.  Swatches below.
mkaeup-forever-swatch*(Disclaimer: This picture does not belong to me).

The colors are gorgeous (:  They are all very pigmented.  It is perfect for day time and night time looks and if you wanted to create a smokey eye.

In the first picture above, I also have a beauty blender pictured.  Okay, I know I’m super late in the beauty blender game.  I couldn’t justify spending $20 on one, but I finally bought one, and OMG, LIFE CHANGING!  Literally, for all my beauty blender lovers out there, I know why you love this so much!  For me, I don’t have to use a lot of product because the blender is really good at distributing my foundation all over my face.  I started out using a blender from Ulta and you can definitely tell the difference.  I like my real techniques beauty blender from Ulta, and I still have it because I like the shape of it and it gets/blends under my eye really well, but using the actually beauty blender brand does wonders.  The beauty blender retails between $20-$25 depending on which one you want to get.  You can purchase one at Sephora.

Well, that’s all for today, hope you enjoyed this and please leave any questions or comments below. (:

LeMarc

Hello all!

#LeMarc Lip Creme #Contest Thanks @Influenster @MarcBeauty

Yesterday, I came home yesterday to a package delivered to me by Influenster and Marc Beauty for a complimentary Marc Jacobs Lip Creme and Lip Liner. 🙂  It was a great surprise!
The lip creme was in the color Fawn Over Me, and the lip liner was in the color NUDE(IST).  I used the liner first, and it was very smooth.  It glides on and the color was great!  I usually never line my lips because other lip pencils feel dry or weird on my lips, but this one actually felt comfortable.  It’s easy to apply and is retractable, which is so convenient.  As for the lip creme, it is the perfect nude for my skin tone.  I think it would be the perfect nude for anyone, to be honest.  It’s smooth and creamy, and long-lasting.  It lasted all night at the event I was at!  Every girl wants long-lasting lip wear and this product is the one!  Here is a picture of the color.

#LeMarc Lip Creme #Contest

I will definitely be purchasing a few of my own colors after using this one! 🙂

Monday Favorites

I haven’t done favorites in a while so here are some products I’ve been using and loving.

  1. Urban Decay All Nighter Foundation
This foundation retails for $40 at Sephora or at Ulta.  It stays on literally all night and has full coverage.  It’s been one of my go-to foundations when I’m getting ready.  I am in the color 6.0, which has a bit of a yellow undertone.  I don’t have any streaks with application, and it goes on very smoothly!

    2. Colourpop Ultra Matte Lip – Love Bug
I like to wear this as a winter color.  I’m pretty sure it is a fall lip, but I love this color too much to give it up for the season.  It retails for $6 at Colourpop.  You can’t beat that price!  If you spend $30 or more, you get free shipping.  This color is kind of a mix between burnt red to brown color.  You can catch a swatch on my last post here.

    3. Marc Jacobs Coconut Primer
I have not used another primer when I bought this one by Marc Jacobs.  The one I tried using before this was by e.l.f., but that primer felt oily.  This one smells and feels great.  Makes my foundation application so much easier.  This retails for $44 at Sephora.  Its lasted for a while now.  I haven’t bought a new one.  I don’t do my makeup every day, but a lot goes a long way.

    4. Morphe Deluxe Blending Fluff
This is the MB13 Morphe brush.  One of my all time favorite brushes.  It blends really well and it is very soft.  I use it every time to blend out my crease or any shadows from lid to crease.  It retails for about $5, and you can purchase it on the Morphe site.  Technique brushes are everything.

    5. Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Highlight Palette

Probably one of my favorite highlighter palettes.  Tarte’s Rainforest of the Sea collection is one of my favorite collections by this brand.  I think they revamped their brand and is definitely now competing with the others just as well.  That’s just my opinion.  I like to use the color Sunlight and Moonlight and mix them both.  It gives a nice pop.  This palette retails for $42 at Sephora.

That is all for now beauties.  For all of those that have subscribed to me since day one, I appreciate it, and thank you for being patient with me and my posts.

Estee Edit Makeup

estee-editIf you haven’t yet, you definitely need to purchase these two palettes that comes in a package!  It is Estee Edit’s eyeshadow palette and highlighting palette for $58.  I bought mine at Sephora when I had my 20% off VIB coupon.  Depending on what your beauty insider membership status is, it ranges from 10%-25% off.  These coupons come out in November and April so it’s about the two times you want to stock up on all of your makeup.  The black palette color names from left to right, top to bottom is: Swerve, Riff, Burn, Wavy, Mood, and Trip.  For the silver highlighter palette color names from left to right, top to bottom is: Snowlit, 14K Glow, 1st Light, Gleam, Ray, and Beachy.  These are very pigmented and gorgeous.  I did a makeup look with both of these palettes.

estee-edit-look-2

estee-edit-look-3The smokey eye I created, I used the black from my Urban Decay Basics palette, and that was it.  Then I used Swerve (gold shadow) on my lid, and Riff for my inner tear ducts.  For foundation, I used Urban Decay’s All Nighter Foundation.  I have heard people raving about it, and I finally bought it and tested it out for myself.  It is now my new favorite foundation, and a lot of foundations do not work for my skin.  I am in the color 6.0.  It lasted all day on me.  It’s great on coverage and it’s lightweight.  It retails for $40.  <3 You need this in your life!
all-nighter
As for the lip color, I purchased a few new matte lip colors form Colourpop.  Pictured below.  These were all $6.  That’s what I love about Colourpop, they’re inexpensive, but work great!  Love Bug is currently  my go-to lip color.  You can see the swatch here or the picture above with the snapchat filter.  I have yet to try Viper and Are & Be.  Viper is more pinky and Are & Be is more of a deep purple with little pink.  Love Bug is almost like a red orange with a hint of brown.  That is probably why I love it so much because it goes very well with my skin tone.
colourpopI hope you have enjoyed this post and this look!  I have a new project I’m working on that will be launching in about two weeks!  Stay tuned beauties!

MYX

Yes, MYX, not NYX.  It’s for Mac, Maybelline, and NYX. Never though there is only one Maybelline product in there.

#1: #goals, I want to own all of the NYX Lingerie matte lipsticks!  Idk if you ladies have seen swatches of these colors, but they are gorgeous!  I have Ruffle Trim and Push-Up. They last all day long!

I finally bought Maybelline’s FitMe foundation.  It’s the dewy one & in the color Natural Beige, I believe.  I love this product. I have dry skin so the dewy and smooth works so well with my skin!  It’s really smooth and soft and I don’t get any creases!  It was about $8 so I’m glad I found a drugstore foundation I love.  I have sensitive skin so I’m picky about foundations and powders.

The tube on the left is NYX’s gotcha concealer.  If you haven’t, you need to get it!  Full coverage and perfect under eye highlighter.  A little sticky, but it doesn’t crease on me since I set it with finishing powder.  This concealer and their HD concealer is my favorite concealers.

My three MAC products: if you’re looking for a very light weight foundation MAC’s water weight foundation is the way to go! It retails for $33.  Which is really cheap for a high brand foundation.  I’m in the color NC20. It’s a little light, but my other foundation from MAC is NC35 so I mix the two.  The water weight foundation is waterproof as well and it lasts all day. I did not have to reapply or anything.  The lipstick is MAC’s limited edition So Select.  Beautiful color, and it can be worn as an every day color, (I’ll swatch it tomorrow).  The last one is MAC’s skin finish highlighter in Soft & Gentle & OMG ? talk about highlighter being on point ?? it retails for $32 , and when you put a primer on first, it’s just ❤️❤️❤️

Well, beauties I hope you have a great Thursday.  I’ll be posting more, I promise!  I’m in the home stretch of tax season! ??

MORPHE & MARY KAY

So Morphe had a sale on their brushes and I HAD to get my hands on the 35O palette!  Picture of the palette tomorrow, for sure!  Can’t give all the surprises away!  I got a blending brush (MB13) and a delux fan brush (MB33). First impression of these brushes are that they are super soft!  I needed a great fan brush for my illuminator ? the Mary Kay stuff if a makeup eye remover which is one of my favorite removers and then I wanted to try their “Thinking of You” lotion.

Happy super bowl/Mardi Gras/Chinese New Years weekend!  Be safe y’all!

Swatch it!

The first picture is the Illuminator.  The one on the left is the gold one and the one on the right is the one in Sunbeam.  Love both of the colors.  On my last post, I mixed my gold illuminate with my foundation and the picture is on there.

The second picture are swatches of the eyeshadows.  The first two are matte and the bottom two are baked.  Today is the last night Ulta is running their 20% off your entire purchase so if you haven’t looked at anything yet, go check it out!

Have a safe Saturday beauties!
