New Products!

I know I haven’t wrote in FOREVER and I’m sorry! I went to Ulta the other day since it was the last day to use my 20% off coupon and it worked on prestige brands too. I walked in without any intention of purchasing a new foundation, but the guy that helped me was great!

On the left, I picked up Benefit’s new mascara & tried this on yesterday. It’s called Bad gal Bang and I love this mascara! If you’ve been following me for some time now, you’ll know why I’m picky about mascaras because I am allergic to most. This one, I’m not! I bought the mini to test it out and it retails for $12 the full size is $24.

The middle product is a highlighter from Too Faced. It’s their new Diamond Light, and if you’ve ever swatched this, it is the most pigmented, on point highlighter I’ve ever swatched, literally. I will swatch in another post.

The last product on the right is Clinique’s even better foundation. It has spf 15 and it’s for a very fair price. It is $28. The packaging is also very nice too. It’s a flawless foundation and I love it. Here is a picture of the coverage. The guy that helped me asked me if I liked full or medium coverage and I picked medium. It’s very light and I couldn’t tell it was on me the whole day yesterday

Happy Wednesday, beauties!

My Go-To Palettes

HAPPY SUNDAY BEAUTIES!  I took a break from doing my makeup now that school has started and I have to get up so early, but I have been doing my makeup on the weekends now that I have football games starting since I coach.  Anyways, here are my go-to palettes.  Not just eyeshadow palettes, but anything with the face.  Here we go….

Urban Decay – Naked 2 Palette
I love this pallete.  It retails for $54 at Sephora.  If you’ve never used any of the Naked palettes before, they are amazing and very pigmented.  I go for the more gold/bronze colors because they go really well with my skin tone.  Go to colors are Snakebite, Chopper, Half Baked, and Foxy.

Lorac Pro Palette
This palette never fails me either.  This palette has eight matte colors and eight shimmer colors.  Matte is on the top and shimmer on the bottom.  I usually go for shimmer, but if I want something simple, I just use the matte colors on the top.  There are neutral colors so it works for a simple look.  This retails for $44 and I think you can only get it at Ulta now.  It’s no longer at Sephora.

Kat Von D Shade and Light Contour Palette
My favorite contour palette.  I like it better than the Anastasia Beverly Hills palette.  I do want to try her creme one though.  I’m surprised I haven’t hit pan on this palette yet, it’ll be a bittersweet moment when I do.  This is the holy grail right now.  I haven’t used the far color on the right, at the top.  It looks like it’s more pinky for my skin tone, but I’ll try it and I’ll have to let you guys know.  You can get this at Sephora and it retails for $49.  I probably haven’t hit pan yet because you get more product with this palette since they’re squares and not circular like the Anastasia one.

Tarte – Rainforest of the Sea Highlight Palette
Another holy grail.  I am in love with this highlighter palette.  It definitely has a pop to it!  The color on the left is Sunlight and the highlight on the left is Moonlight, and the middle is a matte Sand.  I usually use Sunlight for day light and Moonlight when I’m going out at night, but you can always switch it up, obviously.  I use the Sand to kind of set everything, mostly around my forehead and nose area.  I think you’ll have to get this on eBay or Amazon now.  It retails for $44.

That’s all for now.  I’ll have to experiment with a lot more of my other palettes.  I’m hoping to use more color.  Hope this helps!

XO beauties.

Current Favorite Pick Ups
I went to Marshalls and picked up these two things.  The aqua makeup brush cleaning mat was only $6.  Sigma beauty sells a makeup brush cleaning mat, but I feel like it’s so expensive.  This was $6 and did the job.  It cleaned my brushes just fine 😊.

The other product I bought is a $2 fiber mascara (YES $2) that I am actually not allergic to!  It made me look like I had falsies on.  It is by Max Makeup Cherimoya.  I wish I had a picture!

What’s in my Travel Skincare Routine

I like to carry all of my Arbonne skincare routine with me when I go anywhere for the weekend.
First, I have Arbonne’s smooth cleansing facial wash. Leaves my skin feeling great and takes off my makeup. Next, I use the serum from Arbonne, which if I’m in a rush in the morning I just use serum and moisturizer. Followed by the eye creme. I don’t know what I would do without this. After the eye creme, I use the moisturizer with SPF 20. One pump of the moisturizer is more than enough. He gold/Orange round jar on the left is Arbonne’s night cream and it’s one of my favorites. It’s moisturizing and does what it needs to.

The next morning, I’ll use the same products (minus the night cream) and use Arbonne’s makeup primer, which is one of the best I’ve used, and I’ve tried so many already. This one does not make my skin feel oily. Followed by the primer, I use Arbonne’s liquid foundation that feels very light weight. I feel like I have nothing on my face and it’s full coverage. Then I’ll just use translucent powder to set everything in place.

If you want 40% off everything, you can click here. You can check out Arbonne’s makeup, nutrition, hair, and skincare line. All of these products are 100% vegan.

Happy Sunday!

Tarte Thursday

I just went to Ulta and picked up a couple things.  I was only supposed to go get my favorite hair spray, but they stopped carrying it…sad day 😕  Instead, I found a new palette and I’ve always wanted the rose gold eyeliner from Tarte.  The eyeliner is the Tartist Pro glitter liner and it retails for $24.  The palette is called “Don’t Quit Your Day Dream.”  It retails for $29.  I will do a look with these two products this weekend and post it either Sunday or Monday.  I will be at cheer camp this weekend and won’t be home until about 3:30-4 on Father’s Day.  Here a couple of pictures!

Happy Thursday all!  I’m hoping to have a new YouTube video soon!

I’m not gonna lie, I’ve been in a slump lately.  Hoping this will get me out of it now that I have time to dedicate to blog.  I’m hoping for a post 2 or 3 times a week!  Going for 3 times a week.  I haven’t done a “Favorites” post in sooooooo long so here we go!

  1. Arbonne Perfecting Liquid Foundation
Arbonne FoundationThis is my favorite foundation!  It is weightless and 100% vegan!  It doesn’t irritate my skin at all.  I can wear it from morning to night and not feel a thing.  With other foundations, it would irritate my skin by the end of the day, but this one does not make me feel like I’m wearing makeup.  I am in the color neutral beige, but I usually have to buy another one because I get super tan in the summer.  It is literally the best foundation I have ever used.  You can order your foundation here!

    2. Arbonne Makeup Primer
    Arbonne Primer
Best makeup primer ever!  It is not oily and works like it needs to!  For those who don’t know, the Arbonne brand is pure, safe, and beneficial.  There are no dyes, no parabens, no animal products, etc.  As we are all getting older please be careful what you are putting on your skin.  26 seconds is all it takes for the chemicals in your personal care products to enter your bloodstream.

    3. Arbonne the Real Conceal
    Arbonne Concealer
Love this concealer!  Just like the foundation, it is light weight.  Arbonne has seven different shades and they match perfectly, and just like the foundation, I will have to get two different colors because of the summer time.

    4. Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Palette
    Rainforest of the Sea
As you all know, I have a problem and I love neutral palettes.  😀  I can’t help it!  It is very pigmented though.  I love this palette!  Tarte has stepped up their game when they created the Rain Forest of the Sea line.  I feel like the pink and purple are like mermaid colors, I love these colors and they are all shimmer!  I got this from Sephora, and it retails for $36.

    5. Milani’s Matte Lip Creme (Adorable)
    Amour Matte lip creme
Probably the perfect nude lip.  It is also the dupe for Kylie’s Candy K lip color.  I think this retails for $6-$8 vs. Kylie Cosmetics $29.  I love this color and wear it all the time.  Definitely check out more colors from Milani.

    6. NYX HD Finishing Powder
    NYX setting powder
HOLY GRAIL.  The only finishing powder I use.  For $10, that’s a steal!  The perfect makeup setter.  My makeup stays and is matte.  It doesn’t dry out my face.  I got this at Ulta, but you can also get it at Target or wherever they sell NYX products.  This is my favorite drugstore brand.

Thank you all for reading!  I am making it my goal to blog three times a week so I will hold myself to that.  If you want, you can drop some ideas down below in the comments, and I will try my best to accommodate it!

    Happy Monday

Las Vegas!

You’re probably wondering, where the hell I’ve been.  Well, on Sunday technically Monday at 2am, I just flew back from Las Vegas for Arbonne’s Global Training Conference (GTC)!  It was my first one ever, and I met a ton of great people, got to know my roommates and teammates better, and learned A LOT.  At GTC there were 20,000+ people!  Don’t believe the hype:
The conference was at the MGM Grand Arena, and then there was an Abundance area aka the overflow room that had 15,000 people in there!  One of the best conferences I’ve ever been to.
Team Freedom at Tom Urbans!  Shout out to Stacey Lindsey for treating us to dinner that night.
If you’ve ever been to Vegas, lots of walking, eating, and drinking.  There were a lot of great speakers that changed my life the past week.  I even met my spirit animal who was the keynote speaker at GTC.
The picture above, there was a shop Arbonne boutique and two giant “a’s” that you could sign.  Pretty sure I signed Team Freedom STL…and something else then drew a heart around it.

Please stayed tuned because I will be starting a YouTube channel soon!

XO beauties!

Wine About It

Yes, I’ve been MIA.  I was going through cheer tryouts, for those of you who don’t know, I am a cheer coach at my former high school. (:  Yes, I do love it.  You’re probably wondering how it’s like dealing with teenage girls, but it’s not so bad.  It has it’s ups and downs, but more ups!  Followed by cheer tryouts from Monday-Thursday from 5:30-8:30pm, after work on Friday, I drove to Hermann, MO for a bachlorette weekend.  My best friend is getting married!  Here are a few pictures from our adventures this past weekend.  Needless to say, I got home Sunday mid-morning and crashed for a couple of hours.

Gorgeous weather and great wine, and I couldn’t ask for better friends to spend the weekend with.  I know this post is different from all, obviously, but I thought I’d share some of my personal life with you guys since you’ve been following me for a while now.

I think I’m gonna do a tutorial tonight, and post it tomorrow so stay tuned!  Hope your Monday is great, see ya guys!
